What Is an EPG (XMLTV)?
EPG stands for Electronic Program Guide — the "what's on now, what's on next" schedule data you see in a TV guide grid. For IPTV, this data comes as an XMLTV file: a structured XML document listing programme titles, start and end times, and descriptions, matched to channel IDs.
Where to find your EPG URL
Most providers include an EPG link either inside your M3U playlist's first line (look for url-tvg="…" or x-tvg-url="…") or listed separately in your subscription details, often ending in xmltv.php or epg.xml.
Viewing one
Download the XMLTV file and open it with an EPG viewer to browse the schedule per channel. The file itself is just data — you need a viewer, or an app that reads it, to make it useful.
