What is an IPTV player?+
An IPTV player is an app that plays live TV streams delivered over the internet. Streams are usually organized in an M3U playlist — a text file listing channel names and stream URLs. This site is a web-based IPTV player: it runs entirely in your browser, so you don't need to install anything.
Is this IPTV player free?+
Yes. The player is completely free to use, with no signup required. You bring your own playlist; we provide the player.
Do you provide channels, playlists, or subscriptions?+
No. We do not host, sell, or link to any TV channels, streams, or IPTV subscriptions. This is a player tool only — like a media player app, you supply the playlist you have the right to use.
Is using an IPTV player legal?+
The player itself is legal software, like VLC. What matters is the content you load into it: streaming channels that are freely and publicly distributed by their broadcasters is fine, while accessing paid channels without a valid subscription from the rights holder is not. You are responsible for the playlists you use.
Why won't my stream play?+
The three most common reasons: (1) the stream uses insecure http:// which browsers block on secure sites, (2) the stream host doesn't allow playback from websites (CORS policy), or (3) the stream uses a codec your browser can't decode, like HEVC or MPEG-2. Our diagnostics panel tells you which one applies. Desktop apps like VLC aren't subject to browser restrictions, so those streams may still work there — or for CORS specifically, you can retry through a proxy you control.
Does it work on Smart TVs?+
Yes — open your Smart TV's web browser and visit this site. That's one of the biggest advantages of a web player: it works on TVs where you can't install IPTV apps.
