Questions, answered.
What is an EPG?+
EPG stands for Electronic Program Guide — the schedule data that tells you what's playing on each channel now and next. IPTV apps load EPG data from XMLTV files (.xml), which map programme titles, times and descriptions to channel IDs.
Is this an IPTV player with EPG?+
This page is a standalone EPG viewer for XMLTV files. If you're looking for an IPTV player with EPG support, load your playlist in our main player and open your provider's guide file here alongside it — full in-player guide integration is on our roadmap.
Where do I get an XMLTV file?+
Your IPTV provider usually publishes an EPG URL alongside your playlist (look for url-tvg in the first line of your M3U file, or an 'EPG URL' in your subscription details). Download that file, then open it here.
Why don't programmes match my playlist channels?+
EPG files identify channels by tvg-id. If your playlist's tvg-id attributes don't match the IDs in the XMLTV file, guides can't line up. This viewer shows the guide file's own channel list, so you can verify what IDs it actually contains.
